计算系统生物学-Computational systems biology简介
计算系统生物学(Computational systems biology)是系统生物学在运算法则和应用程序方面的发展,和生物信息学及计算生物学紧密相连。计算系统生物学旨在开发和运用更有效的算法、数据结构和通讯工具,以进一步整合海量生物数据,使生物学模式化。
一个系统不可想象的复杂性在于简单元件的因果互作及整合。生物系统亦如此。生物系统传统研究方法倾向于还原乱,强调数据的量化,如对于某一刺激或处理后,某物质浓度变化的时间依赖性。计算机在处理和对这些数据建模过程中至关重要。因此,计算系统生物学目标是构建对环境或内部刺激的精确实时模型(real-time models),如利用癌细胞模型来发现信号转导通路环节中的缺陷,利用离子通道突变模型来研究对肌细胞的影响以及心脏的功能。
系统生物学两种重要语言是SBML(Systems Biology Markup Language)和CellML ,从该连接可获得很多计算系统生物学中应用的软件。(From Wikipedia)
