今天 2008 年度的 SCI 期刊的最新影响因子已经出来了，已经贴在 自然醒BBS 上了，考虑到很多童鞋都是学生，还是在这儿在提个醒，有需要的朋友可以去下载，放在那儿主要是那附件能防盗链，嘿嘿。最近发现博客盗链厉害，正在排查原因。

至于SCI影响因子，我们只要把它作为一个参考即可，并不是科研追求的全部和风向标。有意思的是，今年的SCI影响因子增加了 特征因子(Eigenfactor Score) 和 论文影响分值 (Article Influence)两个指标。其中的论文影响分值使我想到了 Google PR，主页 PR 由各个内页 PR、流量等各个因素权衡加权，呵呵，很有意思。

SCI影响因子算法可能和 Google PR 一样难以参透，但每年的影响因子变化规律也有总的规律可循的。

其实据我所知，SCI 影响因子概念的提出就是基于 Google PR 的一些算法统计计算的。

So why not use Google’s PageRank, the world’s most effective search algorithm to rank these papers in the same way it ranks websites? That’s exactly what a couple of US researchers have done for physics papers published by the American Physical Society since 1893 (abstract). The results make interesting reading because almost all of the top ten papers resulted in (or were linked to) Nobel Prizes for their authors. 上面有一句有意思的话，就是你知道论文”PR”最高的作者往往是谁吗，那些高质量的引用次数最高的论文往往是诺贝尔得主做出来的研究成果。

知道 SEO 技巧以后去当 期刊的编辑是不是一个很大胆的想法呢？说不定在不作弊的情况下(哪怕是作弊边缘)，能将期刊做到影响因子很高。
