The 2008 edition of Thomson Reuters' Journal Citation Report has been released, with strong performance and improvements reported across BioMed Central's journal portfolio.
The BMC series of journals continues to flourish with both BMC Medicine (IF 3.28) and BMC Systems Biology (IF 3.71) receiving impressive first Impact Factors. BioMed Central's cancer journals were another highlight, with Breast Cancer Research (IF 5.05) and Molecular Cancer (IF 5.36) both seeing major increases.
