WordPress,Drupal,Joomla等CMS开源程序不利于网站创新？

常见建站程序如 WordPress , Drupal ,  Joomla及其它CMS开源内容管理系统程序不利于建站创新。呃，不是我说的。Scott Miller说的。(More…Why WordPress, Drupal, and other CMS’s are bad for Innovation)

These tools are immensely powerful, don’t get me wrong. But they are really optimized for doing something that has already been done. If you want a simple blog, brochure site, forum, simple social networking features, etc, then this will get you there quickly. Not a bad strategy if you can find a corner of the market without good coverage yet. But this blog is about innovation, and doing things that haven’t been done before.

If you really want to do something unique and revolutionary, relying on a CMS will kill you dead. Imagine if the guys who built Twitter started out with a CMS platform and went from there. You think Twitter has problems now There are a lot of people “gunning” to be the next Facebook, Myspace, etc. They are not using a CMS either.

不得不承认，这些博客建站程序都比较比较强大，但往往能给人误导。如WordPress本身已经对搜索引擎很友好，许多SEOer要做的事WordPress已经帮你搞定。你想简单的搭建个人博客、手册性质的宣传网页、论坛、简单的社会化网络等，这些程序能很快实现。但是对于想开拓互联网络市场的一个新领域，用这些建站程序不是一个好的策略。

如果你想做点独特并具有创新性的IT冒险，完全依赖CMS将会逼你走向失败。想象当初埃文·威廉姆斯(Evan Williams)依赖CMS，以CMS平台程序搭建的Twitter会成为今天的社会化网络和微博客-Twitter吗。

同样Facebook, Myspace也不是CMS”拿来主义”。

因此，也许你应该尝试下其它的工具。比如Ruby on Rails ,  Python with Django 。和WordPress,Drupal,Joomla等CMS开源程序不同的是，这些程序可以让你写新的applications应用程序，最起码不都是千篇一律的Powered by WordPress。
